AFF theoretical training
The first step to becoming an independent skydiver. This is 8 h of theoretical and ground training divided into two training days. After the training, you buy jumps with instructors.

You can usually complete the Mini AFF course in one weekend. You can complete the full AFF course
in two or three weekends — if the weather conditions are favorable. The exact completion time depends on the participant's pace of progress and weather conditions. On average, completing the AFF course requires 5–7 jumps.
MINI AFF is a good way to start your skydiving adventure
and see whether you want to continue with the full AFF course.
The course consists of the following elements: AFF theoretical training costs 450 zł, a jump with two instructors 1049 zł, and a jump with one instructor 850 zł. The MINI AFF package (theory + first jump with two instructors, with insurance) costs 1499 zł.
The full course is an average of 5–7 jumps, so together with theory it comes to approximately 4,900 to 7,800 zł — depending on how many jumps you do with two instructors and whether any level needs to be repeated. Current prices in each zone can be found in the training shop.
You start with theoretical and ground training (about 8 hours, ending with a written exam). Then you jump from 4000 m — first with two instructors, then with one — and take an in-air exam. After the AFF course, you jump independently and collect jumps toward the skydiver's qualification certificate (class B), issued by the Civil Aviation Authority.
The license, i.e. the class B qualification certificate, requires at least 50 delayed-opening jumps, a total of 30 minutes of freefall, and being at least 16 years old. The cost therefore consists of the AFF course and additional jumps to reach that number — after the course, you buy them in 4000 m packages: 10 jumps for 1450 zł, 20 for 2800 zł, 50 for 6750 zł. If you don't have your own equipment yet, ask at the zone about rental.
Yes, but only after training. In your very first AFF jump you have your own parachute and open it yourself — two instructors fly beside you and hold you during freefall. With each level they guide you less, and after the in-air exam you jump completely independently. Without training, you can only jump in tandem, attached to an instructor.
You must be at least 16 years old — minors need written consent from their legal guardians — and in good health, which you confirm with a declaration. The weight limit results from the equipment certification and is usually around 100 kg; above that, agree the conditions with the instructor before purchase. Skydiver course — the AFF training
What is commonly called AFF in the community is formally a skydiver course. It ends with an independent jump and opens the path to a license — from that moment on, you jump on your own, without an instructor attached to your harness.
