From arrival at the airport to landing — everything you need to know before your first jump.
What will your tandem jump look like?
You already have your dream voucher for a tandem jump, you've booked the date and time of the jump and... you're not quite sure what to expect at the zone right after arrival? We explain everything now:)
Jump procedure step by step
Confirmation SMS that the jump will take place
The day before the jump, you will receive an SMS from us with a pin leading to the zone (you can easily put it in navigation to reach us without problems). The SMS also contains information regarding loose - non-restrictive clothing, and preferably - laced shoes:) - which you should wear during the jump. Of course, we will also confirm that the jump will take place. We invite you to the zone at the reservation time, so if, for example, you scheduled the jump for 1 PM, we will be waiting for you at the zone at 1 PM.
Arrival at the zone and formalities
Once you arrive at the zone, we invite you to our "manifest" - this is the place where we complete all formalities related to the jump - you fill out statements, we verify the voucher and the identity of the jumper. Once we know you have arrived at the zone - we assign you a tandem instructor with whom you will jump and (if you opted for the video filming option - also a camera jumper. The girls from the manifest will provide you with information on which flight you will jump and suggest waiting for your turn on our deckchairs:)
Training and preparation for the jump
When your time comes;) - you will be called by microphone and asked to approach the manifest - your tandem instructor will already be waiting for you there. Together you will choose a jumpsuit (jumping in a jumpsuit - especially during the heat is not necessary - you can jump in your clothes) and goggles for the jump - you will also adjust the harness. The tandem pilot will train you before the jump, informing you how the jump will proceed, you will also practice exiting the plane and body positions during free fall. If you opted for the video filming option - your cameraman will conduct a short interview with you on our wall and record your entry into the plane :)
Plane flight
Your tandem instructor will lead you to the plane where you will board together. Since we can "jump" several tandems at once - you will be accompanied by other seekers of aerial thrills and parachute jumpers. When the plane takes off, you will have several minutes of flight to an altitude of 4 kilometers. If you opted for the video filming option - your cameraman will record you at an altitude of about 2 thousand meters.
Free fall and canopy flight
When you reach 4 kilometers - you will move to the plane door - sit on the edge and ... jump out as if it were nothing from 4 kilometers from a perfectly good plane:);) Free fall - that is, flight without an open parachute lasts about a minute. During this time, you reach a speed of about 250 km/h:) Then the parachute canopy opens and you fly - about 10-12 minutes observing the clouds and the world from above. You land right next to the zone:) and life immediately seems better!!!! * if you are accompanied by a cameraman - he records your actions during free flight - before opening the parachute canopy - for safety reasons separation occurs:) that is, you must fly away from each other to a safe distance. The cameraman records the opening of your parachute canopy - lands first and records your landing. There is also the possibility of recording the flight on an open parachute canopy - in the VIP option the tandem pilot records you with a camera attached to his wrist.
Return to the zone and certificate presentation
After landing, when the emotions have subsided a bit, your tandem pilot will safely escort you from the airport. He will take off his parachute and return to you to remove your harness. Later, you will be ceremoniously presented with a certificate of completing a jump from 4km. It's time for souvenir photos and videos:) We will congratulate you and invite you to more adventures in the clouds:) * if you jumped with a cameraman, he will record your landing and the emotions accompanying you after the jump:) All the material from the jump will be handed over to our editors, who within three working days from the moment of the jump will edit a wonderful souvenir for you, select the coolest photos from your jump and send them in the form of a link to the email address provided in the reservation:)
