Skydiving over the PL Strefa zone

We jump in five places in Poland — each has its own character. If you are wondering where to jump, here is a short guide to our zones.

Gliwice (Strefa Silesia) — for Silesia

The zone near Gliwice is the most convenient choice for residents of Silesia and southern Poland. Close to the metropolitan area, easy access, full offer of tandem jumps and training. The season starts here the earliest — already in March.

Wrocław — for Lower Silesia

The zone at the airport in Szymanów, about 30 minutes from the center of Wrocław, serves Lower Silesia and western Poland. Tandems from 4000 m and AFF and MINI AFF training.

Elbląg / Baltic (Strefa Baltic) — a view of the sea

The zone near Elbląg offers jumps with a view of the Vistula Lagoon and towards the Gulf of Gdańsk. A good choice if you are from northern Poland or combining a jump with a holiday by the sea.

Mazury / Olsztyn — over the Land of a Thousand Lakes

The zone in Olsztyn offers a jump over the Mazurian lakes — from 4000 m the region looks like a living map of water, forests, and fields. A natural choice for Warmia and Mazury and for everyone spending their holidays here. Season: May–September.

Hel / Jastarnia — sea on both sides

The landing area in Jastarnia lies in the middle of the Hel Peninsula, so from above you have the sea on both sides at once: the calm Puck Bay and the open Baltic Sea. The shortest travel time here is for residents of the Tri-City and the entire coast. Season: May–September.

Which zone should you choose

  • Closest to home — travel matters when booking a date, so it is often best to choose the zone closest to where you live.
  • Views — if you care about the sea, choose Hel or Elbląg/Baltic, and if you want lakes — Mazury.
  • Season — Gliwice opens in March, Wrocław and Elbląg in April, while Mazury and Hel operate from May to September.
  • Availability of dates — in season it is worth checking each zone’s calendar, because dates sell out quickly.
  • AFF training — if you are thinking about a skydiver course, check which zone offers training at a time convenient for you.

Weather and safety

In all zones we jump seasonally, and the start depends on the weather. The same safety standard and the same equipment apply in every location.
