From Grudziądz to the zone by the Vistula Lagoon, you drive via Kwidzyn and Malbork for about 90 km — usually an hour and a half. It’s a good plan for a day trip: leave in the morning, jump at noon, and on the way back you can stop by the castle in Malbork. A tandem jump from 4000 meters is performed with a licensed instructor — no course and no experience needed, after a short briefing. You can expect about 60 seconds of free fall and several minutes of flight under the parachute with views of the Żuławy and the Vistula Lagoon. You can buy a jump voucher online as a gift — the recipient sets the date themselves. When booking, you can also add a photo-video package from the instructor’s camera. For a trip from Grudziądz, reserve the whole day: about an hour and a half of driving each way and 2–4 hours at the airfield in Elbląg, where after the briefing you wait for your flight. The zone operates seasonally on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, from 8:00 until sunset. The cheapest option is Friday — the tandem then costs from 979 zł, on the weekend from 999 zł, and with video and photos 1279 or 1299 zł (prices may change). If you are coming in a group of at least four people, a group discount applies. Come in long pants, a thin sweatshirt and full shoes with laces — you will get a jumpsuit and goggles on site.
