A tandem jump is available to most healthy individuals — you don't have to be an athlete. However, there are some age and health requirements worth knowing before booking.
From what age can you jump
A tandem jump is for adults. Minors usually need written consent from a parent or guardian — it's best to confirm the details directly with our zone, as rules may vary.
Upper age limit
There is no strict upper age limit. What matters is overall health, not age — we've had jumpers in their sixties and seventies. If in doubt, consult a doctor.
Health condition — what's important
The jump puts a short but intense strain on the body. Exercise caution or consult a doctor if you have:
- serious heart problems or hypertension,
- recent surgeries or injuries (especially spine, shoulders, knees),
- ear or sinus conditions that hinder pressure equalization,
- epilepsy or balance disorders.
Pregnancy excludes jumping.
Weight and height
For safety reasons, weight limits apply — tandem equipment has its limitations. If in doubt, it's best to inquire before booking.
What about fear of heights
Fear of heights is rarely an obstacle — in the plane and during freefall, there's no reference point that triggers typical edge fear. Many people with a fear of heights jump without issue.
